Pinch an inch
Cost is an important concern when considering any medical weight loss
program. Dr. Croland wants to make his program available to everyone
because he knows what a positive impact this program has on his patients.

The initial workup costs $98. This includes:

  • History & Physical exam performed by the Doctor.
  • Computerized Body Composition Analysis.
  • Weight, measurements, and vital signs.
  • 1-on-1 consultation with Dr. Croland during which he explains the
    program and diet in detail.

Blood tests are performed prior to your visit with the doctor at a cost of $62.
These tests are important in letting Dr. Croland know if other medical problems
are related to your weight problem. These same lab tests cost over $200 at
many local facilities.

EKGs are often obtained depending on your medical history, physical, and
other factors. They are not done on everyone but only when indicated. The cost
of an EKG is $50.

The four week follow up visits average between $75 and $105 depending on
medication.
Patients are encouraged to weigh-in weekly at no additional
cost as we find this accountability dramatically improves success.

Injections: As part of our comprehensive weight loss program,  patients are
offered weekly injections to assist with their weight loss efforts.  Costs range
from $12 to $18 per injection.

Meal Replacements and Protein Supplements
Many people choose to use our meal replacement program to "jump-start" their
weight loss success. Low calorie,  protein-rich meal replacement and snack
products are available in the
Weight Loss Store. The typical cost for a meal
replacement or snack product is between $1.50 and $2.30 per serving. We
strive to carry affordable, high quality, great tasting products in the Weight Loss
Store.
Program Duration:
Obesity is a chronic medical condition which often requires long
term medical management. Dr. Croland does not like to place
an arbitrary time frame on treatment. However, it is
recommended that patients take medication "holidays" in an
attempt to avoid tolerance to a particular treatment. Often times,
Dr. Croland has  patients stop particular medications for 4
weeks after 12-16 weeks of treatment has elapsed.

Insurance:
We do not participate with any insurance plans, as the majority
of companies have chosen to not cover services for the medical
management of obesity.
.
Keep in mind, the IRS allows you to deduct expenses for
Physician directed weight loss programs if you meet certain
criteria. Also, if you have flex spending or HSA accounts, you may
use these funds to pay for medical weight loss. Of course, you
should review these matters with your tax specialist.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Cash, Debit.
